Philip's 25 years of experience working with successful entrepreneurs and family businesses has contributed to the successful business transition planning for BJC's clients. He has learned through working with families, that assisting them to align themselves both in the planning process and the integration of the financial requirements of their plans, achieves greater results today and tomorrow.

Based on the principles of The Business Family Manual Process, Philip helps families design their "Business Family Confidence Program" which focuses on the successful eventual transition of their wealth to the next generations. The BJC process enables families to transition from a family business to a business family that allows them to focus on three key family issues: Business / Family / Ownership.

Philip works with his team to create specialized life insurance strategies that help fund the financial requirements of their plans, whether they are tactical issues such as estate tax liability planning or planning issues such as estate equalization among family members.

Philip is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario (1982). He has contributed to various industry organizations (CALU Board Member and CAFÉ Quebec President) and is / has been a board member of Lower Canada College, the Sarah Cook Fund, the Action Centre and both the Montreal Children's Hospital and the Cedars Cancer Institute Fundraising events.
